Beyond the Valley Boasts Huge 2017 Lineup

It’s hard to believe that Beyond the Valley—a, now, Victoria music festival institution—is only in its fourth year. With each edition of the festival, the hand-picked lineup seems to trump the previous and this year’s no different.

Again, with a focus on electronic, pop and dance acts, Beyond the Valley 2017/8 is topped by previously announced and recent Splendour in the Grass main stager, Schoolboy Q, along with The Presets, Matt Corby Stormzy, Mura Masa, Stephen Bodzin and Little Dragon.

Organisers are boasting this is merely the first round of artists, but with acts such as The Belligerents, GL, Cut Copy, The Preatures, Crooked Colours, DMAs, George Maple and Jack River filling the four day camping event, there’s really no room to move. There’s promise of news acts being added soon so if you’re not convinced yet, there’s no doubt you will be in the very near future.

Happening over the New Years period—December 28 to January 1—at Larnder Park in Victoria’s Warragul, Beyond the Valley is a breezy 90 minute drive from Melbourne. Beyond the Valley aims to be an alternative to the usual New Years camping festival and delivers on it tenfold.
