Don’t Dream It’s Over: Slum Sociable Drop Calming New Single

Melbourne’s Slum Sociable are pleased to share a new single, Don’t Come Back Another 100 Times, the first taste of the group’s upcoming debut, yet-to-be announced album. The single comes with a calming and perfectly fitting music video, too.

After the booming success of the duo’s EP and string of singles—Apartment, All Night Anyway—Slum Sociable, better known as Edward and Miller to their parents, continue to hold a firm grip over jazz, electronica and soul. Further incorporating the intersection between these genres, Don’t Come Back Another 100 Times is the group’s most accessible and promising to date.

As dictated by the band:

Don’t Come Back Another 100 Times’ is about trying not to be shallow,” notes Slum Sociable.

“It touches on elements of regret, of losing someone because of it and accepting the responsibility of your actions. It’s introspective, but written for anyone to be able to relate to and hopefully help come to terms with their own similar situation.”

Slum Sociable currently have no upcoming shows but the group have promised news of their debut album is just around the corner. In the interim, you can stream Don’t Come Back Another 100 Times below.
