Here Is Your 2018 Falls Festival Lineup
The king of all New Years music festival has arrived. Falls Festival—the touring, summer juggernaut—has announced its 2018/9 lineup and, let’s be honest, it’s somewhat lacklustre.
Headlining the whole thing is former Laneway Festival participant, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals followed by no strangers to Australia, Catfish and The Bottlemen and CHVRCHES. Vance Joy, Interpol and First Aid Kit all get a look in as well. The Australian talent, on the other hand, is quiet impressive, if not a little overdone, including Golden Features, Amy Shark, Flight Facilities, DMAs, Jack River, Cub Sport and more.
In terms of quality, Falls Festival this year doesn’t hold a candle to the other incredible New Years festivals on offer. Lineups on offer such as Field Day, Beyond The Valley, and Origin Fields all boast something new and unique to the lineup, where as Falls Festival rests on its laurels a little too heavily.
One such leg up the festival has over others is its reach over the country. The Falls Festival tour hits three consecutive locations at once—Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Lorne—as well as stop over in Fremantle.
If you’re keen on the Falls Festival action, best grab your mates and set those alarms for Thursday 6 September as tickets go on sale HERE. Previous festivals have sold out almost instantly. See the full lineup below.
