Jake Bugg Heads To Australia For Some Solo Shows

Always one to find his way back to Australia sooner rather than later, British hearthrob and singer-songwriter, Jake Bugg, has announced another set of gigs—this time, it’s just him and a guitar.

With the daunting job of filling some pretty big venues, Bugg will have his boundless energy and unique voice to carry both him and his adoring fans through the evening. Sticking close to the East Coast, Bugg will perform three shows back-to-back while in the country—kicking it all off at The Factory in Sydney, moving to Melbourne’s The Croxton before rounding the brief visit out in Brisbane at The Triffid.

Having previously been in the country for Splendour in the Grass and Byron Bay Bluesfest, Bugg will relish these three shows as his first official headline run of Australian shows not attached to a festival appearance. Australian audiences are sure to welcome Bugg with open arms as all four of his records have hit records in his hometown.

At the age of 23, Bugg already has four acclaimed studio albums under his belt. The most recent, last year’s Hearts The Strain which was recorded in Nashville with the Black Keys’ frontman Dan Auerbach. There’s a much stronger country feel on his new record with tracks like How Soon The Dawn and Waiting all tugging at heartstrings—the latter even features Noah Cyrus.

Tickets for this highly sought after tour are sure to be in high demand—act fast! Presale kicks off this Thursday 18 January from 9am; general sale hits digital shelves the following day on Friday 19 January also from 9am HERE.
