Lisa Mitchell Announces Surprise National Tour
After a long hibernation folk-pop goddess Lisa Mitchell has finally returned to the scene with the announcement of her ‘Something About These Streets’ Tour. Mitchell had whet our appetites with the dreamy escapism of single The Boys, and the new tour is set to feature tracks from her forthcoming album ‘Warriors’.
Its been over a decade since a baby-faced Mitchell skipped out on Year 10 classes to grace the set of Australian Idol. Since then she has stood out with her angelic voice and unique presence, polishing her folk-pop craft with a couple of well loved albums, ‘Wonder’ and ‘Bless This Mess’. Now she’s back and mixing a new electro-pop vibe into her pastel dream-world.
Fresh from supporting Grouplove on their two Australian shows, Mitchell promises some new musical territory while still holding onto the toasty intimacy that has us all hooked. Her new album ‘Warriors’ is set for release on Wednesday, 14th of October. Check out The Boys and tour dates below!
