The Darkened Seas Debut ep launch - Sat June 9th
Sydney rock n rollers The Darkened Seas after just over a year on the local live scene are set to release their debut EP in early June. The four young musicians Carl Manwarring (guitar, vox), Alek Cahill (bass), Luke Kirley (keys) and Lozz Benson (drums) or collectively known as The Darkened Seas have spent the past three months working on forthcoming debut self-titled release, The Darkened Seas. The presentation and performance of the record will be held at The Annandale Hotel on Saturday June 9th. Supporting acts include Driffs, The Khanz, Call to Colour and Warchief.

Rooted in the rock ‘n’ roll music of the 50’s and 60’s, and greatly inspired by the timelessness of the blues, sanctioned by the verse and lyrics of the poets and writers of yesteryear, their music is heartfelt.
The four piece band take to the stage threaded in clothes you would wear to a distant relatives funeral, then finding yourself in a seedy New York jazz club with Tom Wait’s Mr. Seigal ringing in your ears.
