Oscar Key Sung Infuses Soul & Techno On ‘D.Y.T’

Oscar Key Sung

2018 has been pumping out some absolutely amazing music so far and, frankly, we don’t want it to stop. Another artist to truly sweep us off our feet is none other than Oscar Key Sung with his latest burner, D.Y.T.

Since his 2015 EP ‘Altruism’, Oscar Key Sung has been drip-feeding singles on an elevating scale. D.Y.T, on the other hand, is a whole new level in this artist’s niche soul-electronica. Never has he sounded this confident and elevated in his craft. It’s soft techno paired with his now flawless, Frank Ocean-esque vocal licks. D.Y.T is the sound of an artist who’s worked so hard to get to this very moment.

The Melbourne electronic stalwart spent time between Mexico City, Berlin and Los Angeles crafting his new music which will be seeing the light of day later this year. Oscar Key Sung’s time in each of these locations proved to be the biggest influence on him.

The three cities brought out such different ideas in me, and each place I stayed way like a different chapter with a whole new narrative of life experience. I feel like I drank it all up and have metabolised all my experiences into work that I am now super excited to share this year,” explains Oscar Key Sung.
