Postblue Release Bangin’ Psychedelic Single “Love To Praise You”

Postblue

Melbourne indie-rockers Postblue have released their new single Love To Praise You this week, and it’s a super chilled-out, infectious track! The trio formed in 2012 and have spent the past few years honing their sound while playing with the likes of Violent Soho and The Smith Street Band along the way.

Love To Praise shows Postblue just keep getting better and better. The track is a catchy psych-rock number, complete with heavily reverberated vocals and a funky bass line. The song is also a little reminiscent of artists like Oasis and The Dandy Warhols.

Frontman Riley McEvoy says the title of the song is about praising the person you love. “Although I’m not religious, I chose to use religious terms and imagery because I feel they provoke strong thoughts and feelings. I think having a really deep devotion to someone is one of the most beautiful things in the world,” says McEvoy.

Catch Postblue at one of their single launch shows next month and give the song a listen below!
