Remi Double Drops With Album Tour And New Track
Aussie hip-hop funboy Remi has released a new single from his soon-to-be released sophomore album ‘Divas and Demons’, AND announced an album tour. The single Lose Sleep (feat. Jordan Rakei) is the follow-up to the groovy yet sincere Substance Therapy.
With his conscious style, Remi yet again delivers in Lose Sleep, making use of his chilled out flow to produce an authentic account of his childhood. The simplistic track features a calm boom-bap beat, as well as some chilling guitar strumming, but one of the standout points of this track is found in the melancholic vocal work of Jordan Rakei.
Lose Sleep is a much more soothing single, compared to its predecessor Substance Therapy which portrayed a more party vibe, but together are getting us hyped for ‘Divas and Demons’. Since his inception as an artist back in 2011, Remi has been credited as being one of the strongest emcees in Aussie hip-hop, laying down bars on cultural issues others may find daunting.
Remi has had a big year with his tour with Seth Sentry, his set at Splendour In The Grass and everything surrounding his album, but doesn’t plan on slowing down, announcing an end of year tour around the nation. Joining him will be the charming Baro, who featured alongside Remi. as an artist we believe is redefining Australian Hip-Hop.
