The Pretty Littles Send Guitarist To Watery Grave In New Video

Melbourne’s Rock-outfit, The Pretty Littles (almost) bare it all in their latest music video for Sleeping In Water as a rather dark tale unfolds.

The ironically light-hearted and super catchy track comes into strong contrast with the grim themes in it’s music video. What seems to be a rather sweet bonding experience out in the woods with friends turns into the murder of guitarist Simon Boyd. Hopefully Simon is alive and kicking so we can get more of those bright, chorus-filled guitar tones on the band’s pretty huge national tour.

Sleeping In Water has that signature Pretty Littles laid-back vibe yet ensuring that you’re tapping and singing along from the very start. While it retains the aspects we all love from the 4-piece, this track marks an impressive turn in their songwriting process. The festivity in this high-energy track is contagious and is sure to be hit in the live shows!

With a national tour on the way, The Pretty Littles have some advice for first time revellers. “If it’s your first time watching us live [we’d] make sure that you’re pretty pissed. Not recklessly so, but enough that your senses are a little skewed. [We’d] bring a few friends as well, someone to bounce ideas off.”
