bring-me-the-horizon-2016

After the sudden cancellation of their Melbourne and Adelaide shows last week, Bring Me The Horizon (BMTH) have announced they’re making it up to fans by coming back for three shows early next year.

Fans were understandably heartbroken when the band broke the news BMTH vocalist/heartthrob Oliver Sykes, came down with a severe and sudden case of laryngitis, leaving him unable to perform.

Metalcore heavyweights Architects who joined BMTH on their recent Aussie tour have also announced they’re making the cancelled shows up to fans in the form of a full Australia headline tour. The band stated on a Facebook post, “We wanted to let you know that while replacement shows aren’t possible for this tour, we are putting together an Australian Headline Tour for you guys as soon as possible. We will have an announcement as soon as we can.”

Morgan Bain To Support Dan Sultan On ‘Magnetic’ Tour

Morgan Bain

Perth-based soul singer Morgan Bain has been an extremely busy guy over the past few months, and shows no signs of slowing down. Earlier this year the multi-instrumentalist released his song Summed It Up, the first track off of his upcoming EP which is due out later this year. The soulful track displays Bain’s impressive vocal capabilities, set against some piano driven R’n’B, and is sure to have everyone tapping their foot along in no time.

On top of this Bain has a spot in Drapht’s touring band, as well as joining him off stage to cover The Avalanches’ song Frankie Sinatra for triple j’s Like A Version, which you listen to HERE.

Bain has recently been announced as main support for Dan Sultan on his ‘Magnetic’ national Tour in November. The tour is in support of Sultan’s highly anticipated fourth album, which is set to be released later this year. Be sure to check out Bain at one of these shows, or check him out as part of Drapht’s touring band!

Violent Soho Collab With Stone & Wood To Create ‘Eat Coast Crusher’ Beer

stone-and-wood-soho

In whats surely a dream come true for the Mansfield rockers, Violent Soho have collaborated with Byron Bay based brewery Stone & Wood to create their own beer: The East Coast Crusher. To celebrate the release of the brew, Violent Soho will be hosting a series of free launch parties so fans can get their hands on this one-of-a-kind beer!

The match-made-in-heaven began in late 2013 when the band released the video for Dope Calypso, which included a clip of the lads buying a carton of Stone & Wood. It just so happened that a few brewers at Stone & Wood were Voho fans, and the relationship has grown ever since. The East Coast Crusher is an unfiltered Kosch that’s been hopped with Ella and Victoria’s Secret, to create a floral flavour that is balanced out with a refreshing bitterness.

These launch parties will take place just before the band head off on their massive headline tour with The Bronx in October and November. The first 50 people to show their tickets for the headline tour will get their taste courtesy of Violent Soho! A limited number of cartons of East Coast Crusher will be available later in the month via Stone & Wood’s website, so keep your eyes peeled to get your hands on this limited edition bevvie!
