Urthboy

Urthboy had us itching for more following the release of his latest album The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat, and oh how he got what we wanted. The Aussie MC has released a brand new chilled out electro-pop track entitled Crushing Hard and announced a run of headline dates to support it! Fans with a keen eye for detail will be able to decipher the unique incorporation of re-contextualized lyrics from the solo artists previous track Wade In The Water. Whilst the single hasn’t technically progressed lyrically, the new cloudy love song production is something to be excited for with regards to this upcoming 16-part show. The Crushing Hard tour kicks off in Adelaide on the 3rd of March and if his previous sold out tour dates are anything to go by, we recommend you get in quick.

Thanks to the guys over at entertainment union Volumes the beloved Sydney venue will be hosting a series of free events and acts in February 2017. The festivities are sorted into four different sets with the first part confirmed as the Freedom 1.0 event. Punters attending the first gig, aka Freedom 1.0, can expect a taste of Sydney’s best music, art and culture; even catching The Gooch Palms and other indie-rock/pop Aussie artists perform synonymously.

Considering this FREE event is the sort we’d ordinarily be willing to spend dosh, on it’s in one’s best interest to overlook their lack of party bag supplication. So follow suit and make space on your calendar for this New Year must!
