Australian Rock Legends Airbourne Release Fiery New Track
Aussie hard rockers Airbourne have streamed a new track entitled Breakin’ Outta Hell, the first single and title track of their highly anticipated upcoming album. The song marks the first new release by the band since their 2013 album ‘Black Dog Barking’, and if Breakin’ Outta Hell is any indicator the new album will be just as good as anything that’s come before.
Breakin’ Outta Hell features typical Airbourne hard rock stylings, complete with hard driving guitars, thumping drums, and frontman Joel O’Keefe’s gritty vocals preaching the fundamentals of rock rebellion, “I may be insane but I sure ain’t scared/I’m a crazy motherf*cker and I just don’t care”. Oh, and the face-melting guitar solo is the cherry on top of the Airbourne riff-tastic.
Indeed this is a style that Airbourne have rarely (if ever) deviated from, but it’s why Airbourne sound so great. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
Since their formation in 2003, Airbourne have established themselves as heirs to AC/DC’s throne as the premier Australian hard rock outfit. The great Angus Young himself has even expressed his approval of Airbourne in the past, famously saying in 2014 “I really like Airbourne”.
Airbourne’s new album ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’ is set to be released on Friday, 16th of September. In the meantime, check out the new track below!
