Emma Louise’s Like A Version “Into My Arms” Cover Is A Warm Embrace

In this week’s triple j Like A Version, exquisite Brisbane songstress Emma Louise has delivered an emotive revival of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ alt-rock hit Into My Arms.

The cover reveals Louise’s powerful vocal ability as well as her tender soul. Into My Arms begins with slow-paced, almost spoken vocals, building into powerful verses supported by bass, strings, and percussion.

The cover is a unique female take on Nick Cave’s original. As Louise creates a feminine yet powerful, emotive atmosphere, we get to hear this love song from a new angle.

Louise’s visit to triple j studios this morning falls midway through her national ‘Supercry’ album tour. ‘Supercry’ was released in July this year, following on from her debut album ‘vs Head vs Heart’.
