Forbes’ List Of Richest DJs Is Out…and It’s Time You Changed Career

Calvin Harris

Every year we turn to Forbes to tell we mere mortals exactly how inadequate our bank balances are when compared to the wealthiest people in the world. Bizarrely, and possibly most infuriatingly, we get to lay eyes on the Forbes list of Electronic Cash Kings for 2016.

Although nearly every name has suffered a loss since last year, these people are still pulling in the equivalent of a small country’s GDP. David Guetta suffered the greatest loss, losing over a quarter of last year’s income, bringing him down to a meagre $28 million.

Topping the list with a brain-imploding $63 million is future-subject-of-an-entire-Taylor-Swift-album, Calvin Harris. Despite pulling in three million dollars less than last year, Harris is a cool $25 million ahead of runner up Tiësto. However, Tiësto is one of the few who managed to turn a profit since 2015, gaining an extra $2 million despite not having released an album in the last 12 months.

On the other end of the list, Avicii and Afrojack drew in a measly $14.5 million and $15 million, respectively. Efforts are currently being undertaken start a charitable foundation to help such struggling artists.

In the meantime, we’re quitting our jobs and picking up a cheap deck at cashies…
