Killswitch Engage Announce Aussie Tour
It’s time to get heavy boys and girls, cause metalcore veterans Killswitch Engage have announced an Aussie tour following the release of their latest album ‘Incarnate’! The Massachusetts 5-piece released their seventh full-length album in March this year, proving that they’re still as heavy as ever with both crushing tones and brutal beats present on the album.
Killswitch Engage formed in 1999, releasing their first full-length album ‘Alive Or Just Breathing’ in 2002, which marked the start of a long career that hasn’t slowed down. They’re no strangers to our shores, having played many tours here over the years, including the late Soundwave in 2008 and 2013.
‘Incarnate’ is classically Killswitch – fast, loud, and intricate yet still vicious. Despite this, they’ve definitely done a bit of growing up on this album, turning their sights to the “metal” side of metalcore. Due to their sound’s evolution, you won’t feel stuck in 2005 when you listen to ‘Incarnate’. If you haven’t given it a go yet, you should!
