Love Alex Turner? Then You’ll Probably Like The SSS’ Upcoming Single!
Rising Sheffield quintet The SSS are about to drop their juicy new earworm The One You Need, which is set for release in a few weeks time.
The distinctive Sheffield drawl of frontman Josh Coddington lends the track naturally catchy verses, while simple but effective guitar work creating an atmospheric indie-rock banger. Between the iconic accent and the crunchy guitars, the band paints a interesting story detailing the winding road love takes, and the annoying situation when you like someone but they’re out gallivanting with other people.
Not only did The SSS record the new single in the same studio the Arctic Monkeys recorded their breakthrough debut album ‘Whatever People Say I am That’s What I’m Not’, but the track pretty much IS early Alex Turner & co. minus some overdrive and lyrical sass.
Musically The SSS are a combo of Catfish and the Bottlemen and early Kaiser Chiefs, their sound is familiar yet you can’t quite put your finger on them!
The SSS’ new single The One You Need is set for release on Wednesday the 11th November, but in the meantime check it out plus it’s gloomy video below!
