Lunar Lightrail’s Debut Single Is Our “Favourite”

lunar lightrail

After the break up of Go Go Fish, Brisbane musician Scott Mercer is now balancing his time and talents with We All Want To and his new solo project Lunar Lightrail. He’s marked the new balancing act with his debut single You’re My Favourite!

You’re My Favourite is a laid-back, slacker-romantic tune, its quirky lyrics reminiscent of an unromanticised version of love: “Hey you, yeah, you with the face and your op-shop t-shirt”. The nasally Aussie twang bring rawness, honesty, and humility to the track.

The song is the first to be released as part of a challenge Mercer has set himself – to release a new single every four months.

If you’re in the mood for wistful, to-the-point lyricism and catchy indie pop hooks, give You’re My Favourite a listen below!
