Montaigne Unveils Energetic New Album and Tour!

Art-Pop gem Montaigne has been hard at work in the studio, but now she’s finished and has blessed us with some great news. Her debut album ‘Glorious Heights’ is on the way and she is heading out on the road for a huge supporting tour!

The latest single Because I Love You is an energetic cracker that will bring a smile to your face, filled with luscious synths reminiscent of the 80’s but without that unhealthy cheese. Starting with a beat that immediately makes you want to bust a move wherever you are, Montaigne comes in with her unmissable unique vocals. Soon, the chorus hits with an explosion of strings and synthesisers providing a ray of sunny, feel-good vibes that will have you longing for the warmer months to come back around.

Lyrically, the song is about looking back on a relationship that was amazing in the moment but bad in reflection. Montaigne delivers bittersweet vocals, with lyrics like “I ate a salad today, I ate one yesterday too/You told me I was precious, now I think that I am too.” 

After releasing her debut EP ‘Life of Montaigne’ in 2014 which featured breakout single I’m a Fantastic Wreck, Montaigne has been trickling out singles. If the rest of ‘Glorious Heights’ can match the quality of Because I Love You we can expect a surefire winner when it drops on August 5.
