Muto Drops Grimey New Banger, “Purple Heart”

Following the release of his debut single that was dropped early this year, Sydney-sider Muto is back and grimier than ever!

Purple Heart is the name of his latest track and features the vocals of neighbourhood pal, Drifting Lights. Long story short, you’ll need a side of mash to go with the absolute banger that Muto has created.

Having utilised the “Australian Sound” most local producers seem to have gone for, Muto solidifies the unique and distinctive sound that sets him apart from other producers. Dirty bass lines, deep drum beats, and hard-hitting synthesisers, are all accompanied by the beautiful vocal work of Drifting Lights. There is no structure or direction within this track; it’s so complex that it works. Layers upon layers and sound upon sound, Purple Heart keeps you on your toes from the get-go.

Having just performed his debut live set at “Welcome To Of Leisure” alongside fellow artists, Young Franco, Tyler Touche, GRMM, and Cyril Hahn, Muto is taking on 2016 head on with a multitude of tunes stored in the bank.
