Nocturnal Tapes Unveil Psychedelic Track “Pieces”

The electronic duo Nocturnal Tapes have returned with a brand new psychedelic single Pieces. Recorded and produced by the group themselves, this song delivers a darker and more brooding feel than their previous tracks.

Described as “the love child of Darkside, Daft Punk, and Jimi Hendrix”, Nocturnal Tapes keep their pop sensibilities and smart approach to songwriting intact while experimenting with new sounds. This track shines light on the duo’s creative depth with a range of electronic beats, smooth rhythms and tech-house influences. The moody vocals contrast well with the heavy electronica, giving off a futuristic feel. Once you get to the chorus you’ll really feel the energy flowing with a mixture of strong electronic and pop beats. With a subtle use of instrumentation to complement the psychedelic electronics, this tune really brings the goods for those who love a bit of EDM.

Since their inception in early 2016, Nocturnal Tapes have received outstanding reviews and support from the likes of triple J, Rolling Stone and MTV for their track Pattern, as well as touring relentlessly around the country.
