The Troggs Are Planning A Wild Australian Tour
British rock ‘n’ roll legends The Troggs have announced a nationwide tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their magnum opus, Wild Thing! Australian audiences can look forward to getting their rocks off to the sound of the band’s classic hits.
The Troggs exploded out of the British music scene in the mid-60s with their debut album ‘From Nowhere’ featuring their renowned rock anthem Wild Thing. With simple but driving songs and a rock ‘n’ roll energy ahead of their time, The Troggs influenced countless garage and punk bands springing from the decades that followed.
Guitarist Chris Britton is the UK outfit’s only remaining original member. Although it’s been 24 years since their last release and the rockers are now in their late sixties, they’re still going, having just announced 13 Australian shows. Don’t miss your opportunity to catch one of rock’s most influential acts!
