1tbsp Comes Through With New Album, ‘Mosquito Love’

Recently, 1tbsp has graced us with several outstanding new singles – including Sleeves Touch My Elbows, Circuit Current, and Best of Me – accompanied by the exciting revelation of their forthcoming Mosquito Love album. Just last week, he came through with the goods, releasing his eight-track collection to the world.

In addition to the previously mentioned tracks, the album showcases an additional quartet of unreleased treasures: “Sour Berry,” “Material Boy,” and the album’s eponymous title track, “Mosquito,” which ingeniously unfolds in two equally remarkable segments, namely, pt.1 & pt.2.

“I made Mosquito Love over the last 6 months and it’s my first album as 1tbsp. Two things really inspired the direction of the album: over the last year, I got into reggaeton & Latin music, and I finally made the leap and bought some modular synths. I wanted to try and combine the two on this album.” ~ 1tbsp.

For those in North America, a thrilling opportunity awaits as 1tbsp embarks on a captivating tour spanning the months of October and November. Meanwhile, enthusiasts in Australia have their rendezvous with the artist, starting with a presence at BIGSOUND in Brisbane on September 2nd & 3rd. Moreover, the anticipation builds for the Listen Out festival tour scheduled across Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney this September.
