44 Ardent Drops Euphoric New Single Hold On (Forever)
Australian electronic producer 44 Ardent has returned with his latest single, Hold On (Forever), a soaring, emotional release that continues to cement his place as one of the country’s most exciting emerging names in dance music.
Following on from recent singles Curtain Call and Wake Up, Hold On (Forever) blends elements of house, dance, and UKG, with a sound that feels both expansive and intimate. Taking influence from electronic heavyweights like Caribou, Jamie xx, and Tourist, 44 Ardent delivers a track that thrives on its towering drop — a nod to the SoundCloud era where emotional, wall-of-sound moments defined the culture.

“I’ve always loved a big, emotional, wall-of-sound drop with lots of elements and complexity. Back then, people would literally scan the waveform and skip straight to the drop, so artists put a lot of energy into making that first moment hit hard. These days, it feels like hooks at the very start are more important, but for me, old habits die hard.”
Hold On (Forever) is a stunning reminder of why 44 Ardent continues to turn heads in the electronic scene. Equal parts euphoric and heartfelt, it’s a track built to light up dance floors while still tugging at the heartstrings, a rare balance that feels uniquely his own.
