4ZZZ & The Foundry Championing The Inaugural OPEN HOUSE
Brisbane’s best community radio station 4ZZZ and AAA’s fav local live music haunt The Foundry have announced the first OPEN HOUSE event, aimed at further fostering an inclusive and safe space in Brisbane’s live music scene.
Created by 4ZZZ’s Grace Pashley, Inigo’s Erin Fitzsimon, and Brisbabes’ Founder and Editor of Purple Sneakers Emma Jones, OPEN HOUSE is an event where everyone can feel included and safe!
OPEN HOUSE respectfully acknowledges the Turrbal and Jagera people, the Traditional Owners and Custodians on which The Foundry stands. OPEN HOUSE aims to welcome women, Indigenous Australians, non-binary people, and the LGBTQI+ community. Along with being a killer inclusive and safe event, OPEN HOUSE will also raise vital funds for 4ZZZ!
Featuring a lineup of some of Brisbane’s most exciting emerging acts as well as a few out-of-towners, punters should expect an extravaganza of hip-hop, electronic music, and much more!
Headlining the night is Melbourne’s Friendships, an audio-visual duo made up of Nic Brown and Misha Grace. They’re heralded as one of Australia’s most exciting and important acts in dance music. They recently released their debut album ‘Nullarbor 1988-1989’ to RAVE reviews (see what we did there?).
Rebel Yell will support with some industrial rave music along with neo-soul RnB songstress Tiana Khasi, hip hop from Gold Coast’s Jesswar, and DJ sets from Sezzo Snot, Sullivan, and Baby Mama.
Tickets are $15 for 4ZZZ subscribers and $20 for non-subscribers.
