Skin-Cancer Awareness Campaign Pretty Shady Teams Up With Kid Kenobi

Pretty Shady, the NSW Government’s social awareness campaign aiming to reduce skin cancer rates in young Australians, has teamed up with Australian producer Kid Kenobi.

Kid Kenobi and Pretty Shady’s track Sunshine features Australian vocalist Andrea Kirwin and is available for free download on SoundCloud. The song is the hinge-piece for a campaign that is driving the Pretty Shady sun safe message to young Australians to address barriers relating to sun protection.

Kenobi says, “the track itself is a celebration of the sunshine but at the same time it’s also about the dangers of the sun and not protecting yourself from it.

“Like the songs says, “we love the sunshine but it’s the reason we burn” said Kenobi.

The track is now available as a free download on SoundCloud and Kid Kenobi is running a remix comp offering the chance for the best submission(s) to be released on Klub Kids- more information to come.
