A$AP Rocky & Mura Masa Team Up For Tropical Banger “Love$ick”
After his oddly quiet year, A$AP Rocky has just hopped on British producer Mura Masa’s new track Love$ick. The tropical party song is uncharacteristic of the A$AP Mob rapper’s signature sound but nevertheless, it’s still a banger!
The collaboration is a rework of Mura Musa’s track Lovesick which features on his album ‘Someday Somewhere’, and in true Pretty Flacko style, A$AP Rocky has jumped on board and added his brand’s famous dollar sign to signify his own twist on the calypso track!
Mura Masa’s quirky synth melodies, tropical beats, and insanely cool vocal samples featured in Love$ick are the perfect match for A$AP Rocky’s signature swagger. His raps are clearly about an unnamed lover (rumoured to be Kendall Jenner) as he raps “And now we industry lovers/They makin’ enemies of us/I mean sometimes when we in public/They drainin’ the synergy from us”.
Only 20 years old, British producer Mura Masa is slaying the electronic music game right now, with the recent success of his 2015 album ‘Someday Somewhere’ and his 2016 single What If I Go? (feat. Bonzai). He’s also worked with some of the best in the industry, remixing the works of Travis Scott, Childish Gambino, Foals, and Grimes!
