Alex L’Estrange’s New Music Video Is Anything But Mild
Brissy songwriter, producer, and now solo artist Alex L’Estrange has just released the music video for Mr Mild.
Mr Mild is anything BUT mild and is his most solid track to date. The sombre tones and airy melodies sends you through a dark corridor, and then the smooth saxophone solo returns you to the light. The multi-instrumentalist showcases his ability to let a delicate atmosphere shine through mellow indie-pop.
The music video scenes straight out of a VCR, showing clips of L’Estrange and throwback clips from the 1950s illustrating something old with something new. You get to see L’Estrange in his music happy place surrounded by his instruments and old-school recording equipment.
L’Estrange has scored some serious international attention over recent months having played with Julia Jacklin, Pool Shop, and Hey Geronimo. He also played Dark Mofo Festival in Tasmania, and is set to play the upcoming Against The Grain Festival in Brisbane this month.
