Anna Lunoe Pays Homage To The ‘303’ Synthesiser

Anna Lunoe

All hail Anna Lunoe. No matter how many singles she releases or the dance floors she slays, the famed, worldwide producer seemingly comes out on top. 303 is her most fun and bouncy house track yet.

As the title suggest, the track is an ode to the 303 synthesiser. Much like the instrument itself, the track sways between acid-soaked house drawls and calculated synth strikes. Lunoe holds nothing back and, increasingly, aims to destroy dance floors in her path. She even sings a couple of bars in the style of Eminem’s Without Me.  Simple in design, difficult in execution, Lunoe continues her perfect run of effortlessly smart electronic tunes.

Of the track, Lunoe denotes:

Making music is weird, sometimes it feels really impossible and other days it happens so easily. This song is really exciting for me because it was one of the quickest songs I’ve ever made, and has re-inspired me to focus on super playable, simple, ravable, rowdy weird club music. It reminded me how fun making club bangers can be and I hope it makes you feel all those things,” explains Lunoe.

303 follows last year’s BADASS, which featured Born Dirty. And if you can’t get enough of Luneo, she maintains her show on Apple Music’s Beats 1. Meanwhile, she’ll be making her third(!) appearance at Coachella this year. Back home, she made the Mix Up tent at the most recent Splendour in the Grass sweaty as it can get on a mid-July day.
