Anthony Kiedis Is Naked Again In New Red Hot Chili Peppers Clip

Chili Peppers

Red Hot Chili Peppers have used everything in their new music video for Go Robot including the kitchen sink? The music video is centered around a robot (?) and his wild adventure to buy a hat and go for a boogie…

The star of the clip is frontman Anthony Kiedis, naked and covered in white body paint with white gloves, a small white bowler hat, and a kitchen sink…covering his dick. Honestly, not that far from the early days of the Chili Peppers if we’re honest.

The clip also features bassist Flea across a number of roles including a delightfully scummy store clerk. Kiedis also takes on numerous roles appearing as a sleazy 70’s club stereotype, Flea and drummer Chad Smith join him in this role.

The clip doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it sure is an interesting watch culminating the unlikely event of Kiedis’ kitchen sink commando finding love with a fellow robot (?).

Surprisingly guitarist Josh Klinghoffer is completely absent from the video, and for that matter missing from most of the track. Go Robot is a funky track which recaptures some of the flair from the first few albums of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. However, the lyrics of the track are complete nonsense, “Can I come and get you when I hit you in your party clothes“.
