Arc De Soleil Unveils Hypnotic New Single ‘Sunchaser’

Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer Arc De Soleil has returned with his first release of 2025, unveiling the mesmerising new single Sunchaser. Known for blending elements of funk, rock, psychedelia, and world music, Arc De Soleil—real name Daniel Kadawatha—once again delivers an evocative sonic experience that transports listeners to a dreamlike state.

Inspired by a transformative trip to Egypt, Sunchaser captures the spiritual essence of the sun’s power, with Arc De Soleil crafting an intricate soundscape of hypnotic guitar melodies, rich grooves, and cinematic textures. The track’s themes explore a deep longing for authenticity and belonging, using the metaphor of chasing the sun as a journey toward self-discovery.

“The process of creating the song was almost effortless in the sense that many things fell into place rather quickly. The groove, the mood and the instrumentation was clear to me even before I started producing the track. I tried a bunch of different guitar melodies before I found one that felt artistically suggestive but still accessible. “Sunchaser” paints the notion of feeling trapped in a sort of perennial alienation towards being in the world, longing for a sense of realness that would ignite the soul with true belonging.
