Aussie Prog Giants Ne Obliviscaris Announce National Tour

Ne Obliviscaris Promo

Aussie prog-metal giants Ne Oblivicaris have announced their national “The World Their Canvas Tour.”

Exploding onto the scene with their debut album ‘Portal of I’, Ne Obliviscaris have gone from strength to strength. Their uniquely individual brand of prog-metal, which includes delicate violin, technical guitar work and an extremely effective use of heavy and clean vocals have put them on the metal map, and earned them fans across the globe. The release of their second album ‘Citadel’ continued their upward climb, taking the band all over the globe, from Asia to the Middle East and North America.

In addition to their ferocious work ethic and musical prowess, early this year Ne Obliviscaris took on the ever changing face of the music industry in a new and unique way. The band launched a one of a kind Patreon project that enabled their fans to fund the band and allow them to earn a living wage, something most professional bands in this age struggle to do. The success of this venture led to the band embarking on their first ever headline tour of North America and Canada, playing to packed  out venues. Now Ne Obliviscaris are back on home soil for a massive tour, before disappearing to record new material in 2017!

Along for the ride are German post-metal act The Ocean. With a new line-up, including the addition of cellist Dalai Theofilopoulou, the pairing with Ne Obliviscaris is an obvious choice, and one that will have metal fans everywhere excited.

Opening the tour will be Melbourne based wild-men Jack the Stripper. With their inventive and volatile brand of chaotic hardcore, and a furious stage presence to match, this band are a must see for fans of all things heavy.

This will be a tour you do not want to miss out on, especially because word is that Ne Obliviscaris will be premiering some new material on this tour. The band hit the stages a the end of November, so grab a ticket from the link below to avoid missing out!
