Aussie Punk Powerhouse C.O.F.F.I.N Hit the Road This August

Sydney’s blistering punk rock juggernaut C.O.F.F.I.N are bringing their explosive live energy to regional Queensland this August, announcing two special headline shows at Capalaba and Kings Beach.

Fresh off a monumental run that saw their latest LP Australia Stops earn an ARIA nomination and take out ‘Best Hard Rock/Heavy Album’ at the 2023 National Live Music Awards, C.O.F.F.I.N are continuing their mission to bring high-voltage rock and politically-charged punk to every corner of the country.

Armed with snarling vocals delivered straight from behind the drum kit, searing guitar riffs, and foot-stomping rhythm, the four-piece are known for their chaotic live shows and unrelenting dedication to creating positive cultural change through music. Having shared stages with legends like Amyl and the Sniffers, Dead Kennedys, and The Misfits, the band’s reputation as one of Australia’s most vital punk voices continues to grow across the globe.

Now, they’re turning their attention to Queensland, with shows locked in for Capalaba Sports Club on August 16 and Kings Beach Tavern on August 17.

“Playing music has afforded us an introduction to many places and people we’d otherwise have never known, particularly spots outside main cities and your usual travel routes. It’s a big part of the whole thing for us and we’re really looking forward to returning to some places we don’t often get to visit. Even more so gigging some towns we’ve never been to. Made a lot of friends and colourful memories by doing so!”

Tickets are on sale now — don’t miss your chance to witness C.O.F.F.I.N live in full force.
