Australian Open Announces Finals Festival Music Lineup 2024

The music extravaganza accompanying the prestigious Finals Festival at The Australian Open has been officially revealed, promising three days of sensational performances during the pivotal weekend of the tournament.

The stellar roster of artists gracing the stage at this year’s event are internationally acclaimed acts such as Groove Armada, Rudimental, and Yaeji, alongside homegrown talents DMA’S and Ruel. Adding to the diversity and inclusivity of the lineup, LGBTQI+ advocates Peach PRC and AO Pride Ambassador Tash Sultana are just a glimpse into the exceptional array of performers that will make this year’s lineup unforgettable.

Commencing the festivities on Thursday, January 25th, celebrating AO Pride Day, the captivating tunes of Australian pop sensation Peach PRC and the ambassador of pride, Tash Sultana, will set the stage ablaze with their distinctive sounds. The electrifying energy continues as the creator of ‘Raingurl,’ Yaeji, takes centre stage alongside the talents of Djanaba, Anesu, and the beats of DJ Luv You, all converging at John Cain Arena for an unforgettable evening of music.

As the excitement escalates on the women’s final day, Saturday, January 27th, the much-loved DMA’S are set to captivate the audience with their electrifying performance. Joining them on stage are Australian indie rock icons, The Jungle Giants, the ARIA Award-winning sensation Ruel, the soulful Tia Gostelow, and the beatsmith extraordinaire Melbourne-based DJ Mel Hall.

Anticipate an extraordinary conclusion to the Men’s final day on Sunday, January 28th, as the stage is set for the sensational British sensations Groove Armada and Rudimental to deliver an epic musical experience. Joining them in this grand finale are the soulful sounds of Latifa Tee, the uplifting harmonies of Sunshine & Disco Faith Choir, and the rhythmic beats courtesy of local DJ Cooper Smith.

Following the triumph of a sold-out Finals Festival at Kia Arena last year, this year’s extravaganza will ascend to new heights at the John Cain Arena, with an expansive capacity accommodating up to 10,000 enthusiastic attendees. This venue upgrade marks a significant enhancement, promising an unparalleled open-air music spectacle that will etch its place in history as the grandest performance ever witnessed at the John Cain Arena. Get ready for an unforgettable musical journey set against the backdrop of this iconic and now even more expansive venue.

The Australian Open is one of the most loved events on Melbourne’s calendar, so there is no better time to bring together tennis and some of the best global music to the stage, right in the heart of Summer’s favourite tennis tournament. Untitled Group are proud to return to the Australian Open in 2024, giving tennis and music fans alike a fantastic day out, full of forefront artists across three jam-packed days of music festival entertainment” – Pia Del Mastro, Music Programmer, Untitled Group.
