Bean Magazine Announce ‘Folly In The Shade’ Tour and Vinyl Release
Brisbane/Meanjin indie-rock favourites Bean Magazine have announced their highly anticipated Folly In The Shade headline tour, set to kick off this October.
The rising four-piece will hit the road with special guests Puree, playing four dates across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. The tour begins Friday, 3 October at The Ed Castle in Adelaide before stopping at Melbourne’s Bergy Bandroom on Saturday, 4 October, Sydney’s Trocadero Room on Friday, 17 October, and wrapping up at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane on Friday, 24 October. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, 24 July at 10am local time.

The tour celebrates the band’s breakout EPs, Folly and 2024’s In The Shade, which have cemented Bean Magazine as one of Australia’s most exciting new acts. Fresh off the road supporting Ball Park Music on their mammoth 28-date tour, the band has also shared stages with The Rubens, Hockey Dad, and Rum Jungle, and made standout appearances at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney.
Fans can also get their hands on the Folly In The Shade vinyl, featuring both EPs. Available for exclusive pre-order with tickets and a limited run at shows, it’s set to be a collector’s item.
