Beddy Rays Drop Second Album ‘Do What Ya Wanna’ and Announce 2025 National Tour

Brisbane indie rockers Beddy Rays have returned in full force with the release of their highly anticipated second album, ‘Do What Ya Wanna’. The record is a bold step forward for the beloved four-piece, blending punk-rock energy with introspective lyricism and surfy charm that fans have come to love.

Following their QMA Rock Award win in March, Beddy Rays have built on their momentum with a collection of tracks that dive into themes of mental health, mateship, grief, and self-discovery. Singles like ‘Silverline’, ‘Hold On’, and the deeply personal ‘Stay the Same’—written in the wake of frontman Jacko’s sister’s passing—showcase the band’s evolving emotional range, while album focus track ‘Pocket Rocket’ brings their trademark energy to a new high.

“This album is us – our highs, our lows, and everything in between. Writing it was a way to make sense of all the craziness life throws at you, but it’s also about not taking yourself too seriously and enjoying the ride. That’s what Beddy Rays is all about.”

Influenced by acts like Green Day and Catfish and the Bottlemen, ‘Do What Ya Wanna’ expands their sonic identity without losing their cheeky, heartfelt roots. To celebrate the release, Beddy Rays are hitting the road for their biggest national tour yet, with dates locked in across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and more.
