BIGSOUND 2025 Teases Final Panel Line-Up Ahead of Full Program Reveal

As Australia’s premiere music conference and festival edges closer, BIGSOUND 2025 has dropped its final round of industry heavyweights ahead of the full program announcement this Wednesday, July 23.

Set to transform Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley from September 2–5, BIGSOUND 2025 promises a world-class conference and showcase program, uniting artists, managers, labels, and tastemakers from across the globe. This year’s panels will tackle critical themes including festivals, export, artist development, and the future of live music, with a lineup designed to foster connection and inspire the next wave of talent.

Joining the speaker roster are international names like Rene Contreras (Goldenvoice, US), curator of Coachella’s Sonora Tent, and Andy Clayton (Creation Collective, UK). They’ll sit alongside Australian industry leaders including triple j’s Richard Kingsmill, Laneway Festival Director Jessie Parker, and ABC’s Nat Waller (ARIA Chair).

BIGSOUND 2025 will also celebrate milestones in Australian music. triple j’s 50-year legacy will be explored in a dedicated panel, while Nina Las Vegas marks a decade of her groundbreaking label NLV Records with a session on innovation in underground music. The opening panel “First Word: One Brilliant Thing” will feature UNIFIED’s Jaddan Comerford, Vinyl Group’s Josh Simons, and ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd discussing the future of music in Australia and beyond.

With second release delegate passes and festival tickets on sale now, attendees are urged to secure theirs before prices rise on August 6. The full BIGSOUND program, including showcase artists and special events, will go live at 9 AM AEST, Wednesday, July 23.
