Bloc Party Announce 2025 Australian Tour to Celebrate Silent Alarm Anniversary

UK indie rock icons Bloc Party have officially announced their highly anticipated 2025 Australian and New Zealand tour, celebrating 20 years of Bloc Party and the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Silent Alarm.

Hitting Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Christchurch, and Auckland in August 2025, the tour will see the band perform Silent Alarm in full, along with fan-favourite hits like Banquet, Helicopter, This Modern Love, Flux, and more.

Widely regarded as a landmark album in British indie rock, Silent Alarm earned NME’s Album of the Year in 2005 and remains a staple of indie dance floors worldwide. Bloc Party’s signature blend of math rock, post-punk, and infectious pop hooks has made them one of the most influential bands of their generation.

Joining them on tour are Young The Giant, marking their first Australian shows in 14 years. The multi-platinum US rockers are best known for hits like Cough Syrup, My Body, and Mind Over Matter.

With an electrifying setlist and high-energy performances, Bloc Party’s 2025 tour promises to be one of the biggest indie rock events of the year.
