Bloods Are Bringing Our Walls Down With Their Fuzzy New Single
Sydney Garage-Pop trio, Bloods have brought us their unique, signature blend of blissful harmonies and distorted guitars in a way which just makes you want to move. Giving us a tasty preview of their upcoming album, the band have released yet another incredible track Bring My Walls Down!
Following the amazing reception of their debut EP ‘Golden Fang’ in 2013, which grabbed people’s attention with its infectiously bright, dreamy punk-rock, Bloods quickly became a big deal on the Sydney music circuit. Backing it up with their debut album ‘Work It Out’, Bloods really cemented their spot as one of Australia’s more prolific female-led bands.
After appearances at SXSW and playing with the likes of The Preatures, Wavves, Sleater-Kinney and Peaches this busy trio found some time to create this blissful new love song, Bring My Walls Down. Leading lady MC explains, “BMWD looks at love as a disease, a kind of infection that infests your mind and body without you having any control over it; something that breaks through uninvited and reminds you that you’re an animal.”
Opening with a super upbeat riff, dripping in fuzz, the track progresses into a beautiful, stripped-back verse where MC graces us with her transcendent celestial tones backed with some dreamy guitar. The track has an incredibly cheerful pop-punk chorus which really showcases the shimmering harmonies between MC and Sweetie as well as some nice little guitar lines.
Bring My Walls Down is sign of great things to come for sure so check it out below!
