Bon Iver Announces New Album SABLE, fABLE, Their First in Six Years
After a six-year hiatus, Bon Iver is set to return with their highly anticipated new album, SABLE, fABLE, arriving April 11. Described as a radiant and deeply personal love story, the album marks a new era for Justin Vernon, embracing themes of transformation, connection, and renewal.
Building on the introspective themes of last year’s SABLE, EP, this full-length release expands the narrative into a nine-track journey where **darkness gives way to light, sadness turns to joy, and love takes centre stage. The project was largely recorded at Vernon’s **April Base** studio in Wisconsin, which underwent an extensive renovation before welcoming musicians like Jim-E Stack and Danielle Haim into its creative fold.

To introduce the fABLE era, Bon Iver will release the lead single, Everything Is Peaceful Love, on Valentine’s Day, accompanied by a music video directed by John Wilson (HBO’s How To with John Wilson).
Stripping away the dense sonic layers of past albums like i,i and 22, A Million, SABLE, fABLE presents a raw, honest exploration of love and self-discovery. Fans can expect an emotionally rich and musically vibrant chapter in Bon Iver’s ever-evolving story.
