Bon Iver Returns with Transformative New Album ‘SABLE, fABLE’
Six years after his last studio album, Grammy-winning artist Bon Iver has unveiled SABLE, fABLE — a deeply emotional and sonically rich journey that marks a bold new chapter in his acclaimed discography. Out now, the album explores duality: heartbreak and healing, isolation and connection, darkness and radiant light.
Bon Iver’s SABLE, fABLE is a two-part exploration of human vulnerability and growth. The first half, SABLE, delves into introspective themes of loss, fear, and reflection. As the album progresses into fABLE, the narrative shifts into a celebration of love, hope, and the strength to move forward. With standout tracks like Everything Is Peaceful Love, Walk Home, and If Only I Could Wait, the album blends lush pop textures with Bon Iver’s signature experimental sound.
Produced by Justin Vernon and Jim-E Stack, and recorded primarily at Vernon’s April Base studio, the album features an impressive lineup of collaborators including Jacob Collier, Dijon, Jenn Wasner, Tobias Jesso Jr., MonoNeon, and many more.
Bon Iver’s SABLE, fABLE is not just a return — it’s a rebirth. The project reaffirms Vernon’s role as a visionary in contemporary music, delivering a raw yet hopeful message that resonates deeply in today’s world.
