Boy & Bear Take On Amy Winehouse For triple j Like A Version

Taking some time off from their national tour for their new album ’Limit of Love’, Boy & Bear dropped by the triple j studio to record an awesome upbeat cover of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black for Like a Version.

As we love Amy Winehouse we were a little hesitant when we first fired up the video because the original was so good, and it’s hard to compete with perfection.  However, that was soon forgotten.

This is now the tenth time we’ve listened to this the morning and we’ve yet to find fault with it, in fact we’re not even tiring of it at all.

Soulful and upbeat, it completely changes the meaning of the original version. Boy & Bear’s version is definitely not a straight cover of the song, with the boys managing to make Winehouse sound at home on any one of their albums.
