Bring Me The Horizon Announce September Tour
UK metalcore 5-piece Bring Me The Horizon are returning to Australia this September for their highly acclaimed ‘That’s The Spirit’ album tour, their first Australian tour since 2013.
Bring Me The Horizon were originally intended to be a part of the 2016 Soundwave Festival, but due to the festival’s cancellation late last year the band had to reschedule their Asia-Pacific leg of the world tour.
Bring Me The Horizon’s popularity in Australia is at an all time high with their tracks True Friends, Happy Song, and Throne all placing in triple j’s 2015 Hottest 100.
Their latest album ‘That’s The Spirit’ marked a departure from their metalcore roots with Brits taking sounds from electronica and a definite move towards pop, to create something that’s almost, but not quite, nu-metal (vintage LINKIN PARK).
‘That’s The Spirit Tour’ kicks off in Perth this September before the usual East Coast destinations. Tickets go on sale to the general public 10am (AEST) Wednesday, 24th February.
