Brisbane Hard Dance Producer R3KW13M Unleashes Explosive Rave Anthem ‘GSTDT’

Brisbane-based hard dance producer R3KW13M is back with a high-energy club banger, ‘GSTDT (Gimmie Something to Dance To)’, delivering an electrifying mix of pounding beats, soaring melodies, and haunting vocals. Known for his adrenaline-fueled sound and signature long-titled tracks reduced to acronyms, R3KW13M once again proves his ability to craft festival-ready anthems.

A powerhouse collaboration, ‘GSTDT’ features goth-industrial icons Robots in Love, with vocalist Elenor Rayner injecting raw emotion into the track’s pulsating energy. The song explores the cathartic release of dance music, painting a vivid picture of heartbreak finding its remedy on the dancefloor.

“When I write, I picture a festival crowd singing along, lost in the music. Lyrically, I focus on simple, powerful phrases that resonate emotionally. With GSTDT, I set out to create a melancholy track—one that evokes the image of a girl, freshly heartbroken, seeking solace on the dancefloor. It’s a song about heartbreak but also about the cathartic power of music and movement.

For the vocals, I needed a singer with a raw, emotional presence—someone who could fully capture the song’s sentiment. Earlier in the year, I had the chance to gig with Elenor Raynor from Robots in Love, and I knew her voice was perfect. Fortunately, she agreed to collaborate, delivering a passionate, haunting vocal performance—one only an experienced goth/industrial artist could bring to life.” – R3KW13M.

R3KW13M—also one half of Brisbane’s EDM-rock duo Karoshi—has been making waves with his genre-defying approach. Following the success of ‘WTOFH’ with Chris Dubrow of iNsuRge and Soulscraper, his latest single further cements his place in the hard dance scene.

‘GSTDT’ is a taste of what’s to come from his upcoming sci-fi-inspired conceptual EP, Cypher, promising more high-intensity, bass-driven soundscapes. Whether you’re in the club, at a festival, or blasting it in your headphones, this track is designed to hit hard and keep the energy soaring.
