Brissie Faves Cub Sport Drop New Track & Announce Tour
It’s a good day for indie-pop fans, Cub Sport have dropped a new track Come On Mess Me Up and announced a national tour! The Cubbies have had a huge year so far, with the success from their debut album, ‘This is Our Vice’, supporting Saskwatch on their national tour, and now kicking off a tour in the UK.
Come On Mess Me Up starts off slowly and sways a little further into the indie side of their indie-pop comfort zone. Frontman Tim Nelson’s soft and sultry vocals give the new track some darker tones while the steadily increasing tempo builds musical suspense to the chorus.
The song has a dreamy, wistful sound from the slow percussion and gentle guitar riffs, while the melodies from the keyboard offer a magical kind of element to the track. The new song comes together as this beautiful, dreamy piece that sounds almost like the soundtrack to a heartbreak.
