Bukowski Unleashes Explosive Comeback with Intense Single ‘one hundred seconds’

Bukowski, the acclaimed Melbourne emo-punk ensemble, makes a triumphant return today with their electrifying new single, one hundred seconds, which is sure to ignite excitement among their dedicated fan base.

Produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by the skilled hands of Jack Newlyn (known for his work with Paradise Club and Between You & Me), “one hundred seconds” lives up to its name, delivering just under two minutes of unrelenting intensity. The track bursts forth with ferocious vocals, blistering riffs, and relentless energy from start to finish.

Frontman James Karagiozis reveals that the track emerged from a spontaneous jam session, fuelled by the band’s desire to create something fast and hard-hitting. The result is a sonic onslaught that encapsulates Bukowski’s signature sound while propelling them into new realms of urgency and vigour.

“The lyrics just flowed out – maybe it had something to do with the headspace I was in at the time,” says Karagiozis. “I was questioning everything, wondering if I was truly living or just existing. Looking back, I think it was a subliminal message to myself – a call to grab life by the horns and experience it to the fullest. Whatever that means for you, go for it, head first!”. – James Karagiozis, Bukowski.

As “one hundred seconds” reverberates through speakers, listeners are plunged into a whirlwind of emotions, propelled by Bukowski’s unapologetic approach to their craft. With this explosive return, Bukowski reaffirms their status as trailblazers in Melbourne’s vibrant music scene, leaving fans hungry for more.
