Bullet For My Valentine Drop Brutal New Single “Don’t Need You”
Welsh metal quartet Bullet For My Valentine have released Don’t Need You, their first single since signing to a new label, along with a brooding music video.
Don’t Need You begins with soaring orchestral strings, soft vocals in the background, before launching into a thrashing, double kick-heavy track, which showcases BFMV’s vocal dynamics nicely.
Known to many for their 2005 hit All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me), fans have been longing for new Bullet since the release of their fifth studio album ‘Venom’ last year. Frontman Matt Tuck says the song is an indicator of the band’s new direction.
“It’s heavy, it’s dark, it’s super-epic, it’s signature Bullet and I think when people hear it they’ll lose their sh*t,” Tuck says. “We love it, and I think it’s a hint of where the band is going next.”
The Don’t Need You music video is a typical metal production set during a semi-sinister church wedding, check it out below!
