Butterfly’ is written about the breakdown of a friendship/relationship and the journey in learning when to close the door on something that isn’t worth pursuing. Leila describes the track as a pop/country ballad, weaving her unique country/pop tone in with a super lush choir, velvety piano and strings which elevates the song, bringing the story to life.

Since her debut, Leila has quickly become one of Australia’s most exciting emerging artists. She has already shared the stage with Bella Mackenzie, The Eurogliders, and Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi), performing to thousands of fans across ACT, NSW, VIC, and QLD.

2025 has been a landmark year for Leila, kicking off with her selection to perform at Melbourne’s sold-out Futuration showcase, where she worked alongside industry heavyweights including Fatai and touring band The RNGZ. More recently, she was named a finalist in the prestigious Mothertone Gympie Music Muster Talent Search.
