Catherine Britt & Elton John Say F U Cancer!

Australian country music heroine Catherine Britt has released her latest single You And Me Against The World featuring American icon Steve Earle, ahead of her national ‘F U Cancer’ tour early next month.

Written as a love song for her fiancé James, You And Me Against The World is a deeply reflective ballad to which country legend Steve Earle adds the perfect amount of honesty and soul.

The track’s release coincides with the announcement of tour dates for Britt’s ‘F U Cancer’ tour, which is spurred by her desire to educate fans to check themselves, and raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.

After the release of her sixth album ‘Boneshaker’ last year, Catherine Britt was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer and has spent the past 12 months undergoing treatment. Despite this brutally indiscriminate disease forcing the singer-songwriter to reduce her touring and take some much-needed rest, Britt is now ready to emerge stronger than ever to confidently tell cancer where to go.

The four shows will be a celebration for Britt, with each show featuring special guests including Josh Pyke, Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, Shannon Noll, Beccy Cole, and many more.

Most importantly, the ‘F U Cancer’ tour will be raising funds for the tour’s charity partner The McGrath Foundation.
