Long celebrated for their lyric-driven and genre-bending sound, Cedarsmoke continue to evolve with each release. Their upcoming album embraces this adventurous streak in full, with every track tied to a unique colour and theme.

‘Something Over Nothing’ shines in yellow, symbolising vitality, excitement, and adventure. Both anxious and anthemic, the track blends restless electronic beats, spectral guitars, and flickering synths with a confessional lyricism that wrestles with life’s highs and lows.
“Something Over Nothing is about the extremes of life. It sits on the side that it’s better to live through the ups and downs of than to suffer a life of boredom. Focused on joy and sadness and the cyclical nature of life and death, it contemplates the rising of the sun in the east (representing birth) and setting in the west (representing death).”
Upbeat yet tinged with melancholy, Cedarsmoke’s ‘Something Over Nothing’ captures the turbulence of existence while urging listeners to embrace extremes over complacency. The single is out now, paving the way for Under The Rainbow.
